The Greene County girls soccer team continues their quest for a season win after going 0-2 last week, falling to Central Iowa United and Webster City.
The Rams hosted Central Iowa United on April 18, falling 4-0 to the 3-5 team. The Trojans kicked two goals in each half, with the Rams unable to find a score. Esther Van Horn took five shots, with Jocelyn Velazco, Adison Gallagher and Yaritza Leon Alvarado taking one each, no shots on goal were made. Goalie Lucy Vander Linden was credited with 14 saves.
On Friday, the Rams traveled to Webster City to face the 4-3 Lynx, falling 6-0 after four goals were made in the first half and two in the second by Webster City. No stats were available for Greene County.
